Getting involved in the mental health community changed my life. I recommend it to all those who are seeking to become more open about their mental health condition or looking to feel accepted by those around them. Get Involved With NAMI
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a nonprofit grassroots mental health education, advocacy and support organization. I began volunteering with NAMI in 2014, and it was lit the fire to begin advocating for mental health in our community by sharing my story. If you would like to volunteer, donate or are in need of support, please go to the NAMI website and see all they have to offer. You will not regret it!
