Schizophrenia is a serious illness which affects the way you think, your feelings and behaviour.  The National Alliance on Mental Illness estimates that it affects 1% of Americans. With symptoms like delusions, hallucinations and muddled thoughts, a diagnosis of schizophrenia is, without question, frightening. If you are looking for me to say how much I hate my life with bipolar 2 disorder, you will not find it in this post. It does not define me, but it is a major part of who I am.
